    BBA LL.B course is an undergraduate academic programme that is professionally oriented and conducted on a full-time basis by several institutions and universities in India. The course refers to an integration of two programmes, which are Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law. It is a five-year programme for Intermediate students who want to gain an integrated understanding of the interrelated aspects of various fields of law and management of businesses. The course is of five-year duration, which is usually divided into 10 semesters, with each year having two six-month semesters.

    The BBA LL.B course offers students the in-depth learning of various rules and regulations that govern a system, society, state, and country. In addition, students learn about the rules of trade and business administration within the legal context.   • Eligibility for BBA LL.B Course

    Candidates interested in the BBA LL.B course need to ensure their eligibility completely before submitting their applications to specific institutions. While different institutions and universities may have different criteria to admit Indian and foreign students in this course, there are some basic eligibility conditions that every institution applies. The basic eligibility criteria include the following:

    The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam or an equivalent exam from a recognised board. Those awaiting the results of the qualifying exam may also apply, but they will have to produce the qualification proofs at the time of entrance test or admission, as required by an institution.

    The candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in the 10+2 exams. However, the condition may differ from one institute to another. The minimum marks percentage may also differ for different candidate categories. According to the BCI, the minimum marks percentage cannot go below 45% for General category students and 40% for reserved category students. Thus, the applicant must check the requirement of a particular institution before applying for admission in its BBA LL.B course.

    The candidate needs to appear for the entrance exam based on whose merit a particular institution selects candidates for admission in the BBA LL.B course. Many institutions accept the scores of state-level exams or national-level exams like CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). The candidate must ensure to learn about the acceptable entrance exam before he/she applies for admission in an institution.

  • BBA LL.B Specialization

    The BBA LL.B programme is a specialised course in itself. The course offers a detailed knowledge of several aspects of law and business administration, such as the legal method, legal theories, Indian legal system, international business laws, special contract, quantitative techniques, IPC, and business and managerial communication.

    Students also learn about organisational behaviour, administrative regulations, corporate governance and finance, taxation law, and human resource and quality management. The BBA LL.B course further trains them in areas like mergers and acquisitions, civil procedure code, information technology law, international trade and economics, labour laws, pleading and dispute resolution, and professional ethics.
