State Bank of India (SBI) invited applications for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers (SO) in State Bank Group. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of online written examination and interview conducted by the State Bank of India.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

(i) For Deputy Manager (Law)  -   Post Code: DMLA

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law or 5 years integrated Law course from a recognized University in India.

Post Qualification Experience:

Those candidates who have enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and minimum 2 years active experience as practicing Advocate

OR

Two years’ experience as Law officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Financial Institutions & State Level Development Financial Institutions.

The experience will be counted after the enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.

(ii) For Assistant Manager (System)   -     Post Code: AMSY

Candidates applying for SBI SO posts must have passed B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Instrumentations

OR

M. Sc. in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications

OR

An MCA degree from Government recognized University or Institution.

Post Qualification Experience:

Experience in computer programming in a reputed organization where available, would be desirable.

Age Limit

Candidates should have attained the age of 20 years and should not be more than 28 years of age as on April 1, 2016.

The candidates can apply for SBI SO examination by visiting the official website of SBI i.e. www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. After the completion of registration, applicants are required to pay the application fee via using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.
