State Bank of India (SBI) invited applications for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates in clerical cadre. The State Bank of India will conduct examination in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main Examination to select the eligible candidates. The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the candidates’ performance in Main examination and Interview taken together.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

(i) For Junior Associates:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

(ii) For Junior Agricultural Associates:

Applicants should have a graduate degree in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized institute or university.

Aspirants who are studying in final year of qualifying examination can also apply provisionally and will need to produce the passing graduation exam documents on or before June 30, 2016.

Age Limit

Candidates should have attained the age of 20 years and should not be more than 28 years of age as on April 1, 2016.

Application Details

The candidates can apply for SBI Clerk examination by visiting the official website of SBI i.e. www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. After the completion of registration, applicants are required to pay the application fee via using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.

The SBI Clerk examination will be conducted into two phases.

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

Preliminary examination will comprise 100 objective type questions for 100 marks which will be divided into three sections as follow:
